The Gift, and the Evidence

Deborah Colleen Rose reads people two ways. Thirty years as a licensed private investigator on one side; accredited intuitive and spiritual practice on the other. When the two agree, you have something you can act on.

Three generations, and a licence

Deborah comes from a family of intuitive practitioners — three generations of it — and spent her working life proving things for a living. Thirty years licensed as a private investigator, and years more teaching continuing education to other investigators in the field. Those two things are not usually found in the same person, and that is the whole point. An intuitive who cannot show her work asks you to take it on faith. An investigator who will not admit to intuition is leaving half the read on the table. Deborah has spent a career refusing to choose, and that is what she brings to a session. She is also a Christian mystic with a background in prophetic ministry.

The two ways she reads

Forensically. Behavioural assessment, Winslow profiling, and handwriting — the disciplines she was licensed and paid to apply long before she offered them as coaching. Handwriting in particular shows what a conversation edits: the patterns underneath what someone is willing to say, and the specific formations that change them. Therapeutic work, not the party version. Intuitively. Accredited spiritual coaching, Reiki, Hoʻoponopono and oracle work. This is the half most people come looking for, and on its own it is the half the market is saturated with. Neither one is the service. The corroboration is. When a handwriting sample and an intuitive read land on the same thing, that is not a hunch any more — and it is specific enough to do something about on Monday.

The work outside the practice

Deborah has been Executive Director of the Council of Families for Children, a 501(c)(3), since 2014. She is a NAMI Texas certified professional and a national trainer on family programs, and much of her published writing comes out of that work rather than out of coaching. There are more than thirty titles, the deepest cluster of them on mental health and family advocacy, including a contribution to Chicken Soup for the Soul: Children with Special Needs. Two of the methods she teaches are her own — Harmony Through Handwriting, and C.H.U.N.K., on using your core emotional response. Life Tapestry Cards, an oracle deck and companion book, was co-created with Luann Morris. She is affiliated with Investigative Solutions Group and Contemplative Fellowship with Christ.
